TRADOVATE TRADING JOURNAL

A Tradovate trading journal built around Position History CSVs.

Sharper Trade is designed for futures traders who export from Tradovate, preview every import, and keep evaluation, funded, and personal accounts separate before analyzing results.

01

Import Tradovate Position History

Upload Position History CSV files, review new trades and rejected rows, then confirm the import only when the preview looks right.

02

Avoid duplicate CSV imports

Cumulative exports can be re-imported without silently duplicating unchanged trades, which makes regular review safer than spreadsheet copy and paste.

03

Review futures performance by account

Track each Tradovate account separately, then combine only the accounts you want for dashboards, tags, notes, screenshots, and exports.

TRADOVATE TRADING JOURNAL

Questions traders ask before choosing a journal.

Does Sharper Trade connect directly to Tradovate?

No. The current release imports Tradovate Position History CSV files and never asks for broker credentials.

Can I re-import a cumulative Tradovate CSV?

Yes. The importer is designed to detect unchanged historical rows so repeated exports do not duplicate trades.

Is this for futures traders?

Yes. Sharper Trade focuses on futures traders using Tradovate CSV exports, including prop evaluation and funded accounts.
